Maddy is a Maryland native, earning her bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland before continuing on to dental hygiene school. Maddy loves every aspect of being a dental hygienist and believes that “when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” She has a gentle touch and friendly personality, helping her to ease nervous or anxious patients, and creating a comfortable and stress-free dental experience. Maddy loves working with pediatric patients, and believes that a positive and exciting first dental visit is critical to developing good oral hygiene habits and paving the way for all future dental interactions. She feels that often we go to the doctor when we are sick, not to avoid getting sick, so Maddy is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of prevention. After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Maddy has a deep desire for learning, and is motivated to acquire new skills and knowledge. She attends regular continuing education courses, seminars, and training to stay current and well-informed as modern dentistry rapidly evolves. Maddy is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), and proud to provide holistic, evidence-based care in a non-toxic environment where focus is placed on the mouth as it relates to overall health. Outside of the office, Maddy prioritizes her own health with regular exercise and movement. She enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with her family and friends.
